New species to add to a public database. Need to add the type locality to
map it. The species author gives only a museum reg number, no
geocoordinates, no type locality statement. Unfortunately not that
unusual. Stupid, but not unusual. But it's a special issue from a tropical
location, and there's a special station paper. Study station paper. The
station paper has only ... yes ... station alphanumerics, and the
taxonomist didn't bother to give any of those. His collection site may not
even be one of those. Just one more possibility - go to the museum site
and look up the registration number, or the species name. Takes a while
to drill down through the fluff at the site and find an actual search
engine thingy ...
