Bit of self advertising. For anyone interested in such matters, in a recent
article there is a tectonic model presented to account for the
biogeographic origin of endemic taxa in Taiwan that have mainland
relatives. Anyone interested in a copy please let me know off list.

Article is: Buchsbaum, U., Hsu, L.-P., Chen, D.-J. & J.R. Gehan. 2018. A
new Endoclita (C. &. R. Felder, 1874) from the High Mountains of Taiwan
with notes about its evolutionary origins (Lepidoptera: Hepialidae).
Zootaxa 4521 (3): 441–450.
