[Taxacom] wing shape terminology

Dear colleagues,

Some species of moth I work with have hindwings that are triangular, but
with convex sides (usually noticeably on just two sides, with one straight
or more or less so). I am interested to know if there is a term used to
describe triangular forms that have convex sides whether in plants or
animals. The nearest I have seen so far is semi ellipse, but that has two
sides, one straight and one as a single convex curve.
